Before you enquire about any of the dogs that need a furever home – please do read the information on Are You Rescue Ready? We cannot emphasise enough how unsettling it is for a dog to go into a home and through no fault of their own find themselves back in kennels – please be prepared to commit the time, effort and patience … we really do have to stress that it’s ALL about the dogs and what is best for them.

Dogs coming from rescue need a home that understands they may have been through a lot in their lives and where everyone is willing to do everything within their power to make the new transition work. They may come with baggage and need your help to unpack – they may have just come from another home exactly like yours and slot in ….. we don’t know, but you need to be committed, whatever. Our process and support very much focuses on the core belief that dogs are FUREVER and you must be prepared to go through our vetting process and spend time with the dog to make sure it is a good match. It is unsettling for them to be taken to a home and then brought back again quickly – please be sure that this is a good time for you to adopt, that you have thought about the commitments involved, are willing to put in time and effort and change your routine, at least to begin with. #itsallboutthedogs Thank you 🙂
