Mickey sadly came back to rescue after his older owner felt she couldn’t give him the exercise and stimulation he needs – he loves a good run around and needs an active home where he will get the lifestyle he needs. He wasn’t happy being walked on a lead up the lane for short walks and so will need chance to stretch his legs and have a good mooch around.
He is a very friendly boy, can be a little timid at times until he knows and trusts you, but is such a loving dog once he feels confident with you. He is around 6-7 years of age, typically good with other dogs, probably best suited to a home with no cats or small furries, and we would prefer if any children that they are of an age where they can respect his space – ideally age 11+
Mickey loves to play with a football and is a big fan of empty water bottles that make that delicious crunching noise ha ha! He regularly looks out for them on his walks and we think he could earn a living as an empty plastic bottle collector 😉
Mickey is a lovely boy, in kennels in Shrewsbury, and waiting for the right home. Usual home check and adoption fees apply.
