Meet the dogs

To follow are details of the dogs currently looking for homes. We would ask that prior to considering applying for a dog that you make sure you really are “Rescue Ready” and that now is a good time for you to be considering taking a rescue dog into your home.

Some of these dogs have already been let down once and we need to be as sure as we can that you can offer Furever Homes. Please do take time to read carefully before applying …..

Before you enquire about any of the dogs that need a furever home – please do read the information on Are You Rescue Ready? We cannot emphasise enough how unsettling it is for a dog to go into a home and through no fault of their own find themselves back in kennels – please be prepared to commit the time, effort and patience …

Dogs coming from rescue need a home that understands they may have been through a lot in their lives and where everyone is willing to do everything within their power to make the new transition work. They may come with baggage and need your help to unpack – they may have just come from another home exactly like yours and slot in ….. we don’t know, but you need to be committed, whatever.
